JEB200: The New Jvonne Compactor for Metal Chip Management

Post articolo luglio 07

Reducing the volume of metal chips, recovering cutting fluid, and minimizing storage space requirements—these are the challenges that inspired the creation of Jvonne compactors and continue to drive the development of every new machine we build.

This isn’t a leap in the dark; it’s the next evolution of a new platform. We’ve refined it by listening to the people who manage it every day, as well as to our commercial partners, to deliver higher performance and make the compaction cycle easier to manage.

50 Tons of Compaction Force for more compactable Briquettes

The number that makes the difference is the compaction force: 50 tons. The result is more compactable, more stable briquettes, meaning less storage volume, higher coolant recovery, fewer transport costs, and scraps that retain greater value when the recycling process is reached.

Designed to support with Your Business growth

The needs of a production plant evolve over time, and the JEB200 has been designed with that in priority. Its structure is already set for the Booster System predisposition, allowing performance to be upgraded at a later stage without replacing the machine or making much more changes into the production line. A smarter, more flexible way to protect your investment.

Next-Generation PLC

We have developed a next-generation PLC designed to control every step of the compaction cycle. By remote diagnostics (optional), potential failures can be identified in advance, reducing machine downtime and accelerating maintenance services. The configuration is ready to meet the cybersecurity requirements of a connected production environment.

One Platform for five models

From a practical standpoint, all five models in the range share the same frame and the same parts. This means a simpler spare parts stock list, faster maintenance, and lower service costs.

The adjustable feet make it easy to level the machine and set the correct inclination to ensure proper coolant drainage, while the integrated wheels simplify moving the briquetting press during installation, maintenance, or production layout changes.

The Metal Scrap Market Is Growing. And Your Shop Can Be Part of It

The Italian scrap metal market is experiencing strong growth: industry revenue has increased by 64.5% over the past two years, while employment has risen by 10.7%. Yet Italy does not generate enough scrap to meet the demand of its steel mills and foundries, making imports essential. This means that the metal chips produced during machining are not simply waste to be disposed of—they are a valuable and sought-after secondary raw material.
Metals remain the most recycled material category in Europe, accounting for 23.4% of all recycled materials in 2024. Although the recycling rate has declined slightly, scrap metal prices are expected to recover, with forecasts indicating an increase of approximately 9% between 2025 and 2028.
The takeaway is clear: properly managing metal chips—by compacting them and keeping them clean—is not just about maintaining a tidy workshop. It is a practical way to increase their market value and maximize returns in a market where demand continues to exceed domestic supply.
